Eorimok Trail is the northwestern trail of Hallasan Mountain. After an hour walk path Eorimok Valley leading to queritron forest, visitors encounter Sajebidongsan Peak with an unobstructed view. Then as visitors cross Mansedongsan Hill ( 1,600m above sea level ) along a stony pass, they meet flatlands. After another 30 minute hike, they arrive in Witsaeoreum Shelter facing the towering crater wall of Baegnokdam (summit). After one more hour of walking along the south cliff belt way, visitors reach the south cliff junction, where unfortunately they are obliged to turn back as they are prohibited under the rest year sabbatical system from hiking to the top. Visitors can take the Donnaeko Trail and Yeongsil Trail to descend the course.
One way is about 6.8 km which takes about 3 hours. It’s the second shortest trail among the hallasan mountain trails. It’s a easy trail so that even beginner hikers can enjoy hiking.
